Brief
CRIACAO Shinjuku FC was in need of an NFT collection card and new club token when launching their 2nd crowdfunding project on FiNANCiE, Japan’s most popular token and NFT trading floor.
I designed the NFT collections, club tokens, thumbnails and banners.

Details
• Criacao Shinjuku wanted to hold an event at their home game in the 2022 season and tried to fund it by crowdfunding.
• Through a crowdfunding project on FiNANCiE, customers could support a project and also gain the club tokens in return for their support. (equivalent to the amount of their support)
Therefore, it was crucial if they could convey the benefit of holding the tokens to potential customers, but club tokens itself was still not widespread in Japan at that time.

• The benefits of token holders are that they can participate in the club’s city-development activities and club management by voting; holders can also earn profits when the token value increases.
• Criacao Shinjuku aimed to increase its token price to secure a stable revenue by properly advertising the benefits of holing the token and NFT.
• While other local amateur football clubs were more successful on the platform, Criacao Shinjuku’s token value had been relatively estimated lower despite Criacao Shinjuku belonging to a professional division.





Intentions&Approaches
• By adopting a flying token in the Shinjuku city motif, I attempted to express three messages.
1. Criacao Shinjuku keeps growing as a hub that connects people.
2. The token holders can participate in the club’s city-development activity in cooperation with Shinjuku city, Tokyo’s capital.
3. As Criacao and Shinjuku city grows, the token value also dramatically increases.

• According to line-ups of the Token menu, I designed four different colour tokens: purple, silver, gold and platinum. The variation in colour aimed to help potential customers find out which token suits them and feel proud of the token colour they choose.
• To make the NFT collections hold and increase their value in the long term, I selected essential moments of the previous season, which was the memorial since Criacao Shinjuku won promotion to J-league for the first time in the club’s history.
Result
• We managed to achieve the project objective, and the amount of support reached ¥830,000 in just 2 weeks.
• The NFT collection went sold out.
