Brief
A Japanese pageant coach and qualified DNA nutrition teacher, Miku Takahashi, needed an appropriate business card for her new type of target audience as her business grew and became known widely in the last 3 years.

Details
• The prior design was composed of a big, iconic illustration but didn't look professional.
• She aims to acquire new clients who are likely to afford more luxury services she offers, and then the business card should look more trustful to them.
Intentions&Approaches
• Firstly, I figured out which points of her service would be the most unique and appealing for the target audience.
• Secondly, I researched to see what her target audiences regard appropriate and her potential competitors.
• After the research, I felt the essential value of her business was to be a door for students to change their lives and future. In addition, as business cards are still the most common and widely accepted way in the business situation in Japan, they are a kind of door to get to know someone. Then I came up with the concept "two doors", and I adapted the elements distilled from it.
Creative Originality
• The geometric pattern will look pointless at a first glimpse on the front, but a reader will quickly know they compose characters when they look at the back.
This process will bring readers surprise, joy and excitement just in a few seconds, and that experience also helps them remember for a long time with a positive feeling.
